Celebrating Winter Solstice Light

Solstice is a natural way to reconnect with life’s divine plan and to feel a deep connection to all of life and the natural world.

Reflecting on the journey is a wonderful way to celebrate the Solstice…Powerful points in time to celebrate the light, honor your path, and vibe up!

Just as with the cycles of the sun, there are peaks and lows in the spiritual journey as well. There are times to move forward, times to share, times to go inward and reflect, times to step back and even dark nights of the soul.

Honor and celebrate your unique journey and the inherent cycles within walking a spiritual path and living a human life as well.

Today, when we celebrate the sun and as it aligns your cycles with it, your spirit gets a lovely dose of inspiring energy and an infusion of light to support you as you continue to progress along your spiritual path.

Happy Winter Solstice!

Winter Solstice: December 21st 2017

December 21st marks the deepest and longest part of winter beginning tomorrow. Winter Solstice, in another sense, marks the shortest day of the year in the Northern hemisphere. Solstice’s significance, has been connected with most intimately to witches, pagans, and druid communities who draw their beliefs and rituals from Celtic, Welsh, and Icelandic cultures, and from indigenous people in what is now Canada.

Solstices are auspicious days that were designed to celebrate the new energy and changing of the seasons. cheers – Happy Winter Solstice!

Home is the Heart of the Holidays

While Christmas music playlists often include favorites like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus,” there are also a handful of tracks that go a deeper.

Listen to “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” or “White Christmas,” and you’ll hear a deep yearning to be home for the holidays especially when having to spend the holidays somewhere else.

December is filled with Christmas rituals – the TV specials, Live Rockefeller Christmas Lightning, the gifts,  the lights, the music, fireplace, hot chocolate, snow, and what remains is home. It is the beating heart of the holiday, and its importance reflects our primal need to have a meaningful relationship with a setting, a place that transcends the boundary between the self and the physical world.

Bliss Medium Boutique on Etsy
Etsy has a very very very strict policy. To the point where it’s almost counter-productive for them.

Etsy shops have been deactivated for trivial things like posting external links in the forums or even mentioning other marketplaces like Shopify, and WooCommerce.

As you all know, we are selling Intuitive Readings along with a digital music mantra mp3 at our Etsy shop. Etsy is a unique venue that connects buyers to individual makers and designers, and they have policies that have changed about what can be sold and the types of businesses that can sell in their marketplace.

In the Etsy marketplace, they require that we accurately represent handcrafted items in our business. After a close review, Etsy found our shop to have the following issue that our products were not 100% handmade and handcrafted even though our mantra music mp3 is actually 100% handmade and handcrafted but Etsy administration doesn’t see it that way.

There are some real violations of Etsy Terms and some real misunderstandings. We can’t tell when Bliss Medium Boutique will be back up and running but we are hoping to resolve the issue and have been thinking of connecting our handcrafted Manifesting Candles along with selling our Intuitive Readings. Thank you so much for everybody’s support for the last two years. Our Etsy shop has grown abundantly and in the meantime, everyone can still order readings through our website at IntuitiveMagazine.com and donations we take through our PayPal account which is AnswersforAwareness@gmail.com

We will continue our newsletters, and social media @intuitivemagazine on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and @intuitivemag on Twitter. You still know where to find us intuitivemagazine.com. Have a wonderful rest of December celebrating the holidays and Happy New Year!!

Self-esteem and Self-worth, you need to know that you deserve the best. Do not let anyone treat you like you are average. You get what you settle for, so aim high and surround yourself with those who recognize your self-worth, who love you, who respect you, who encourage you and build you up to a higher level.

Remember that YOU are special, and you can achieve anything.

Festival of Lights: A Great Miracle Happened There

Hanukkah is a time for giving and receiving presents and gifts. They are often given on each night. Lots of games are played during the time of Hanukkah. The most popular is ‘dreidel’

It’s a four sided top with a Hebrew letter on each side. The four letter are the first letter of the phrase ‘Nes Gadol Hayah Sham’ which means ‘A great miracle happened there‘ (in Israel, ‘there‘ is changed to ‘here‘ so it’s ‘Nes Gadol Hayah Po‘.

The Festival of Lights remembers the rededication of the second Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. This happened in the 160s BCE/BC (before Jesus was born). (Hanukkah is the Hebrew and Aramaic word for ‘dedication‘.)

Hanukkah last for eight days and starts on the 25th of Kislev. Because the Jewish calendar is lunar (it uses the moon for its dates), Kislev, the month in the Jewish calendar that occurs in late November to late December.

Happy Holidays!
