Diamond: The Birthstone of April

Natural Diamonds are thought to have formed when a deep-source volcanic eruption delivered diamonds to the surface. In these eruptions, magma travels rapidly from deep within the mantle, often passing through a diamond stability zone on its route to the surface. Pieces of rock from the diamond stability zone may be torn free and carried rapidly upwards to the surface. These pieces of rock are known as “xenoliths” and contain diamonds.

The diamond is the traditional birthstone of April and holds significant meaning for those born in this month. Wearing diamonds increase inner strength and bring benefits such as balance, clarity and abundance. They are also symbolic of eternal love, and those fortunate to call April the month of their birth enjoys the history behind this rare gem.

The diamond as the April gemstone has captured the hearts of many and is the most coveted crystal to date. Known  as the “King of all Birthstones,” diamonds make the ideal choice for an April birthday gift.

Happy April 1st !
